On this sunny day, we chose to sit with the masses basking in the season's early rays. The construction going on along a stretch of US 50 West didn't make our journey easy. If the Price Hill Incline had existed today, all we would have needed to do was head West along 8th St., take the Incline straight up, and we're there. Still, it wasn't too difficult finding Incline Public House once we'd meandered around Elberon and Mt. Hope Avenues.

Our bar includes craft beer selections on tap and in bottle with a focus on local craft breweries, fresh squeezed juices, updated versions of cocktails and a small but thoughtful wine list. While not technically a rooftop, the patio at Incline Public House offers one of the best views of Cincinnati. The bar offers uniquely delicious drinks and food including the Vista Fashion which is smoked using cinnamon sticks. The roof slides open every night, weather permitting, revealing picture-perfect views of downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River. If you’re going to go out and enjoy a meal in Cincinnati, you might as well take advantage of our city’s incredible views. We both agreed the hand-cut fries should have been crispier; instead, they were quite limp, but sprinkled with a pleasing spice blend that compelled me to finish off her plate. A soup and sandwich combo was on my agenda, and the Duck BLT sandwich, with duck "bacon," mesclun greens, tomato and maple mayo, sounded perfect. For an extra $2, I substituted the usual accompanying hand-cut fries with a cup of the smoked red chicken chili, topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream and tortilla strips. If you have yet to head up to Price Hill and try Incline Public House, you will be blown away by the views — and the food. This hilltop Cincinnati restaurant offers sweeping vistas of downtown and everything surrounding it and they are truly something to marvel over. The food arrived fairly quickly and looked great despite the harsh sunlight beating down upon it.
Our kitchen is scratch-making everything possible. We are utilizing both our in-house smoker and brick oven with a focus on gourmetsandwiches, pizzas and salads. We recommend sending a member of your party early to put your name on the waitlist.

This includes ice cream cakes and refrigerated items. Top of the Park located downtown on top of The Phelps hotel is back open for the season and is welcoming back live music as well. AC Upper Deck, which has become one of the most popular rooftops in downtown Cincinnati, is open for the season.
The hearty, buttery, toasted bread of my BLT was reminiscent of a good grilled cheese sandwich, with fresh greens and tomato nearly overpowering the duck bacon's surprisingly mild flavor. The thick-cut bacon didn't offer the intensely salty, crispy, greasy meatiness I'd hoped for. It was a solid sandwich overall, though I found it a bit on the small side given its hefty $11 price tag plus the extra $2 hit for swapping out the fries. The beet flavor wasn't overbearing in the sandwich, as I'd feared it would be. Even as a beet fan, I feel a little of it goes a long way. The toasty sweet bun made for a pleasant textural experience.
Enjoy a beer from their latest rotation or even choose one of their cocktail or wine offering. The brewery also offers food from OTR Chili located in the main level of the taproom. Modernized speakeasy-style rooftop patio The Blind Pig offers picture-worthy views of the riverfront and stadiums. The bar also just updated their drink menu to include new specials, boozy shaved ice and slushies.
